Last week in Warsaw (Poland) at the EuroGastro Fair CID LINES was a winner in the competition for the best and innovative chemical product: Kenosan Lactic, our (r)evolution in surface and knife disinfection for the Food Processing industry!

EuroGastro is the most important trade fair in Poland for the HoReCa sector featuring a complete offering for the gastronomic industry.

In Belgium the FAVV (Federal Agency for the safety of the Food Chain) already recommends Kenosan Lactic after audits because Kenosan Lactic is an approved alternative for disinfection with water of at least 82°C at slaughter lines and in cutting plants for knife disinfection. It's extra tested and approved for the effectiveness against E. coli, Pseudomonas aeruginosa, Staphylococcus aureus, Enterococcus hirae, Salmonella sp. , Listeria monocytogenes and Campylobacter jejuni. No risk on skin burns and no loss of sharpness of the knives. Composed of food contact ingredients allowing use without rinsing!


Kenosan Lactic is a disinfectant for floors, walls and machines in the food industry, industrial kitchens and canteens. More over it is specificly developed and approved as alternative method for the disinfection of knives at the slaughter and cutting lines. The Kenosan Lactic formulation is based on lactic acid and specific food contact ingredients. Resulting in a product allowed for application without rinsing.
